How it works

What happens when you sic the hound.

You connect your invoices, we clean up the list together, and then every open account gets steady, friendly follow-up by text, email, and phone until it is settled.

01

Setup

Connect QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe, Square, or upload a CSV. Connecting takes minutes, and follow-up starts once your list is scrubbed, usually within a day.

MoneyHound reads your open invoices: who owes, how much, how old, and how to reach them. It does not touch your books. It does not issue credits, edit invoices, or mark anything paid without you. Payments run on your rails too. MoneyHound sends the payment link or instructions you already use, and the money goes straight to you.

02

The ledger scrub

Before anything is sent, we go through the list with you. Zombie invoices come off. Anything already paid comes off. Anything in dispute comes off and stays off until you say otherwise.

The fastest way to look unprofessional is to chase an invoice that was paid in March. So we never do.

03

Triage before cadence

Nothing useful happens until you know why an invoice is open. The first real conversation is a diagnostic one, and it sorts every account into one of three branches.

They did not know

A clean re-send with the invoice, the amount, and a payment link that works on a phone. Most of these close in a day.

They cannot pay right now

A respectful arrangement: a date, or two payments instead of one. You approve the terms once and MoneyHound holds them to it.

They will not pay

A firm, professional close-out, a written record of what was said, and a flag to you. The decision after that is yours.

What the messages sound like

Every message identifies your business, states the invoice plainly, offers a way to pay, and invites a reply. Nothing is bolded, nothing is capitalized for effect, nothing is threatened.

Hi Dana, it's the team at Miller Hauling. Looks like invoice 1042 from June is still open, $180. Here's the link if it slipped by: [link]. Anything off with it, just reply here.
Oh shoot, I thought Rick paid that one. Sending it now.
No problem at all. Thanks Dana.

Invoice 1042, $180, still open

Hi Dana,

Invoice 1042 from June is still showing open on our end, $180. The invoice and a payment link are attached, and card or check both work.

If something looks wrong with it, reply here and we will sort it out.

What the calls sound like

A real conversation, driven by what your customer says, not a script read at them. It listens first, answers the question that is actually being asked, and confirms what happens next.

It knows its limits. A question about the work, a complaint, or anything it should not answer for you gets handed to you with a summary of the call.

Calls only go out during allowed hours for your customer's location. Quiet hours are enforced by the system, not by memory.

06

When customers reply

A reply changes the cadence immediately. A promise to pay on Friday moves the next touch to Friday. A partial payment resets the balance and the tone.

A dispute stops everything on that account and alerts you the same minute. No follow-up goes out on a disputed invoice, ever.

Payment ends the sequence and closes the account out with a thank you.

07

The dashboard

Every conversation is logged, in full. Every account shows where it stands and what happens next. Any customer can be paused with one click, for as long as you want.

And one line across the top, for the only number that matters.

What MoneyHound never does

Never threatens.

Never harasses.

Never calls outside allowed hours.

Never contacts a customer you have paused.

Never pretends to be a collection agency.

Never takes a percentage of your money.

Ready when your ledger is.
