Questions

Everything owners ask.

What is MoneyHound?

The AI that follows up on your unpaid invoices by text, email, and phone, in your business's name, until you get paid.

Is this a collection agency?

No. MoneyHound works on current, pre-default invoices as part of your business. Friendly follow-up, not collections. There is more detail on the compliance page.

What does it cost?

Flat monthly tiers from $29, sized by how many customers you have in follow-up. You pay nothing until the first payment comes in. See pricing.

Do you take a percentage of what you collect?

No. Never.

How does it talk to my customers?

Texts, emails, and real phone conversations. Calm, plainspoken, always identifying your business, always easy to reply to.

How do customers pay?

Through you, the way they always have. MoneyHound sends the payment method you already use, a QuickBooks or Stripe link, your portal, card, check. The money goes straight to you and never passes through us.

What if a customer disputes an invoice?

Follow-up on that account pauses immediately and you are alerted the same minute.

What about really old invoices?

Old ledgers get a scrub first, then a diagnostic conversation, then a path based on whether the customer did not know, cannot pay right now, or will not pay.

Does it handle recurring billing?

Yes. A customer with many open invoices is treated as one relationship with one running balance, and counts as one account.

Is it compliant?

The product is built for pre-default, first-party follow-up: quiet hours, instant opt-outs, and state-aware rules are enforced automatically. See the compliance page.

How long is setup?

Connecting takes minutes. QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe, Square, or a spreadsheet. Follow-up starts once we scrub your list with you, usually within a day.

Can I pause a customer?

Instantly, and for as long as you want.

What happens when I hit my account limit?

Limits are hard caps. Upgrade a tier to add more.
